Etsy Find – Black Lace Jars for Home Decor
Black Lace Jars for Home Decor
I found these on Etsy, love them! The set has a vase jar and two candle holder jars. Here is the link where I found them.
I think they would look lovely in the bedroom, living area or even the bathroom.
Seeing these cool jars done up in lace has inspired me!

Decor – Vanity Table
This is such a nice addition to any bedroom or if you’re lucky to have a
room that you have for all your clothes & accessories. A perfect
little area to do your make-up! I’d love it if it were dark wood or
black and antique gold/ brass hardware (Goth it up a bit more).

Annabel Lee - Edgar Allan Poe
One of my favorite poems from Edgar Allan Poe…
Annabel Lee
By Edgar Allan Poe
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea,
But we loved with a love that was more than love—
I and my Annabel Lee—
With a love that the wingèd seraphs of Heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in Heaven,
Went envying her and me—
Yes!—that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we—
Of many far wiser than we—
And neither the angels in Heaven above
Nor the demons down under the sea
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling—my darling—my life and my bride,
In her sepulchre there by the sea—
In her tomb by the sounding sea.
Moon (Poem)
“Moon”
What have you got in your knapsack fair,
White moon, bright moon, pearling the air,
Spinning your bobbins and fabrics free,
Fleet moon, sweet moon, in to the sea?
Turquoise and beryl and rings of gold,
Clear moon, dear moon, ne’er to be sold?
Roses and lilies, romance and love,
Still moon, chill moon, swinging above?
Slender your feet as a white birds throat,
High moon, shy moon, drifting your boat
Into the murk of the world awhile,
Slim moon, dim moon, adding a smile.
Tender your eyes as a maiden’s kiss,
Fine moon, wine moon, no one knows this,
Under the spell of your witchery,
Dream moon, cream moon, first he kissed me

Lady of the Moors (Poem)
Lady of the Moors
High on windswept moorland,
bathed in a sinister, unforgiving winter
She stands alone against the gale
Clad in black cape and white ruffled gloves
A teardrop-shaped hat of black roses
covers her hair.
From the valley below
her figure appears ghostly.
Her skin, so pale
stands in relief against the gloomy landscape
One can just make out her cries.
At a distance they are merely a whimper.
I approach
A bolt of thunder
She is gone
I love her

Summer time is near and so is beach season. I'm very lucky to live close to the ocean, it inspires me to design nautical and beach jewelry.
I've been working on my nautical and beach collection that I named Lost Sea Treasures.
Inspiration for the collection comes from the magic of the sea and all the sea creatures that live there.
I wrote another blog post about Sea Enchantment on my website, click on over and take a peek.
Browse the Nautical and Beach Jewelry collection, you might find a little treasure to add to your jewelry box and wear when you want a little bit of sea magic!
