Easy Pumpkin Pie
Thanksgiving is around the corner and this is an easy pumpkin pie recipe to make for the holidays or anytime.
Ingredients
2 eggs
1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin puree
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice*
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust (Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust)
whipped cream
Directions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
Mix eggs, pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl and mix until combined.
Fit pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish; pour pumpkin mixture into the crust.
Place pie on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake until filling is set, 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from crust comes out clean.
Let pie cool and top with whipped cream.
*Tip: If you don't have pumpkin pie spice, use this instead, use 1 teaspoon after you have mixed the spices together.
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Mix all the spices together and store in a jar.
