New Year - Inspo

Today is the start of a new year 2022 and my inspiration for the moment is the element of water.

Being close to the sea it calls to me.

This year I want to connect even more so with the elements, nature and all it's wonder and beauty.

I hope to create jewelry that reflects this magic.

28 Weeks Later - Movie

28 Weeks Later

Two of my favorite Zombie movies are 28 Days Later (2002) and 28 Weeks Later (2007).

Both films are good to watch especially on rainy days.  I also love the sound track/theme songs in both movies.

28 Weeks Later is a 2007 British post-apocalyptic horror film, and the sequel to the 2002 film 28 Days Later. The film was directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, and was released in the United Kingdom and in the United States on 11 May, 2007.

Synopsis:

Six months after the original epidemic, the rage virus has all but annihilated the population of the British Isles. Nevertheless, the U.S. Army declares the danger past, and American soldiers arrive to restore order and begin reconstruction. Refugees return to British soil, but one of them carries a deadly secret: The virus is not gone and is even more dangerous than before.

Cleansing Rain Spell

A Cleansing Rain Spell

Let the  rain help you remove negativity from your life. When rain is forecast, gather these items you'll need for this spell: an earthenware dish or a terra cotta flowerpot saucer, and some soil.

As the rain approaches, fill the saucer with soil and pack it firmly. While thinking of your problem write a word or two describing it in the soil using your finger. Or using a stick draw a simple outline in the soil depicting your issue.

When the rain begins to fall, place the dish of soil outdoors. After the rain stops, the image you drew in the soil should be faded. Sprinkle the soil upon the ground as a sign of thanks and let Mother Earth aid you in solving your problem.

Godsmack - Moon Baby

Godsmack - Moon Baby

Let's take a blast to the moon baby

I sit around wishing you well

How I'm craving you, yeah!

Every time I'm near you

I always want to swallow you down

I'll be right here if ya need me

In my life, ill need you here, don't ask why

I'll never disappear

Why is it every day that I feel the pain?

Lets take a trip to the stars far away

Where were you when I was down?

Staring into the dead

My pain is caused by my pleasure

My soul mate lives in your body

I can't get you out of my head

It never goes away

In my life, ill need you here, don't ask why

I'll never disappear

In your eyes you can bid me farewell

But don't ever try to understand the situation

Why is it everyday that I feel the pain?

A London Fog

A LONDON FOG

A FOG in London daytime like the night is,
Our fellow-creatures seem like wandering ghosts,
The dull mephitic cloud will bring bronchitis;
You cannon into cabs or fall o'er posts.
The air is full of pestilential vapours,
Innumerable "blacks" come with the smoke
The thief and rough cut unmolested capers,
In truth a London Fog's no sort of joke.

You rise by candle-light or gaslight, swearing
There never was a climate made like ours;
If rashly you go out to take an airing,
The soot-flakes come in black Plutonian show'rs.
Your carriage wildly runs into another,
No matter though you go at walking pace;
You meet your dearest friend, or else your brother,
And never know him, although face to face.

The hours run on, and night and day commingle,
Unutterable filth is in the air;
You re much depressed, e'en in the fire-side ingle,
The hag Dyspepsia seems everywhere.
Your wild disgust in vain you try to bridle,
Mad as March hare or hydrophobic dog,
You feel in fact intensely suicidal:
Such things befall us in a London Fog!
